There are many buildings in Halifax and the wider borough that divide opinion. We asked readers which Halifax eyesore would you want to see demolished - and what would you replace it with? And you really didn’t hold back!
1. The Punch Bowl, Salterhebble
One reader said: "The punch bowl is a real eyesore. I think it is getting pulled down soon though".
2. Trinity Sixth Form College
"The new college. Don't think its needed in town. We need more 'value add stores' to bring people to the town," said one reader.
3. Broad Street Plaza
One reader said: "Broad Street Plaza! Replace it with a beautiful garden with trees and shrubs providing colour all year round."
4. Building on Waterhouse Street
"The acca/ former chinese restaurant, it just looks dilapidated," said one reader. Another said: "Acca and building below replace it with something we haven't got like primark or shops like that much needed in Halifax"
