CHILDREN dressed up in fancy dress to join in the fun at Brighouse Charity Gala.
The competition sponsored by the Brighouse Echo didn't attract a huge number of entries but those who did take part had used their imaginations and came up with some original ideas.
There were £10 prizes and trophies for the winners of each age group, plus the Donna Reaney Trophy for the overall winner.
Isabelle Crosswaite, aged two, of Brighouse, won the section for children up to four-years-old. She was dressed as Shirley Temple and was accompanied by her mum Mrs Sharon Crosswaite, who joined in the fun by dressing as Mary Poppins.
